Everything in this image can be found in the kitchen. Photographer Carl Warner captures food in a series of still lifes.

Each scene is photographed in separate layers to prevent the food from wilting. "I like the way smaller aspects of nature resembled larger ones," says Carl Warner.

Indeed - it is. Sacto friend and former UC Davis colleague with an eye for the unusual sent it. Posting, I thought of you & your photography, thinking you'd enjoy it - glad to hear I was on target.

Btw a Colorado Welsh pony connection does macrophotography too (in addition to equine). Most interesting area - adding it to my bloggit someday list (a blogger's tomorrow file & growing by the day). .
