About PAPNM Plein Air Painters of New Mexico (PAPNM) is an organization of artists dedicated to preserving and promoting the tradition of painting en plein air — in the open air, or outdoors. PAPNM provides regular opportunities for members to paint together at paintouts and also hosts exhibitions and workshops. PAPNM evolved from Plein Air New Mexico, founded by Deborah Paris in 2004.
